Texting someone about my father’s health, getting the text “Do you think he’s going to die,” responding, and never getting a reply….even after almost 24 hours.

…oh.

It’s almost as though you were just texting for texting’s sake without any real empathy or care behind it. Maybe you got bored and just didn’t bother replying. Maybe you fell asleep. Whatever it is, it made me very uneasy.
